Videogame Silly Season

Whats up everybody, thanks for checking in! Short post today...

As you'll likely know, i've been branching out and writing for some great outlets recently and i'm absolutely loving it. I enjoy writing, but it's so nice to have an audience that don't know me personally. Go check out some of my work - PushSquareXbox Tavern and SquareXO.

We're now approaching that time of the year where things in the video game industry take a turn for the crazy - the autumn/fall release window.

Of course, we have the usual suspects - Call of Duty will no doubt sell incredibly, and Battlefield is back having taken a backseat to Battlefront last year. There's also the small matter of another Assassin's Creed title.

On top of all of this, Nintendo is back with a bang: Super Mario Party, Pokemon Lets Go and Super Smash Bros Ultimate all hit on consecutive months between October and December.

Not to be forgotten, however, the other platforms have some beefy exclusives too - Forza Horizon 4 and Spiderman being the highlights.

With all that said, here are the games i'm intending on picking up this year and writing a full review for:

Fire Pro Wrestling World - 28th August

Destiny 2: Forsaken - 4th September
Spiderman - 7th September
FIFA 19 - 28th September
Dragonball FighterZ - 28th September (Switch Version)

Forza Horizon 4 - 2nd October
Super Mario Party - 5th October

Hitman 2 - 13th November
Pokemon Lets Go - 16th November

Super Smash Bros Ultimate - 7th December

All in all, then, a very busy few months - I wonder what will run out first, my budget or my time?!

Lets find out!
