The Calm Before The Festive Storm!

Hi all, how's it hanging? Today's post is a short, rambling update on life.

It's been a mad few weeks but yesterday was my first day off where I didn't have ANYTHING to write for an outlet - no reviews, no features, nothing. It was lovely. In fact, I managed to go and see my good friends Kerry and Will's new beautiful daughter Aubree, and then see the new Fantastic Beasts Movie in the evening.

On top of that, over the weekend I got to see my bandmate James marry his beautiful fiancee Alex and it was such a beautiful autumnal wedding - cosy, intimate and special. Here's a cheeky snap of Frankie and I - she looks stunning as per, and I scrub up alright eh?

It's crazy to think that it's December this weekend. Firstly because it doesn't feel all that long ago since last Christmas, and secondly because we'll be able to find out the sex of our baby in the next few weeks. I spend almost every waking moment thinking about Frankie and the baby, so it's fair to say I'm counting down the days, hours and minutes until May! I think it's fair to say I've never been as happy as I am right now - long may it continue.

On top of that, I decided to take the plunge and switch broadband to Sky (cheaper) and add a TV package. With Frankie needing plenty of rest (and Sky including Netflix in their subscription), it made sense to get Sky with the boxsets on offer. I can't wait for cosy nights in, plus I can start watching the NBA and Premier League matches in the comfort of my own home - bonus!

Things have been pretty stressful at work but myself and my colleague are producing the Christmas Quiz for our office again this year after a successful run last year. I found it really helpful at combating my anxieties last year, so hopefully this year will be a breeze.

I'm sure there's plenty more to update you on, I just can't seem to think of it right now. For now, I'm enjoying the ride. Sorry for the "Dear Diary, I did this today" approach, but I'll have some more of my usual content up later this week.

Until then, thank you for reading!
